Introduction
This commenting project was done using the method of teaching and tutoring that I feel is the most important. I want to reach the student at an early stage in their writing process and address all of the higher level concerns. Once the higher level concerns have been taken care of the lesser concerns can be dealt with using any additional time the teacher or tutor may have. I feel that one of the most important tools a teacher or tutor has. The student is a tutor’s best resource for understanding the material and ideas that the student is trying to portray to their audience. The best way to utilize this resource is to ask questions. These questions can be asked during a tutoring session or on teacher’s comments. These comments should be constructive; these questions can be used by the writer to create not only a better piece of writing for this paper but also used during future papers to correct frequent problems.
